Apparently, the true author of My Immortal has come forth. She apparently went through a very troubled childhood and has written a book about her experiences. The publisher supposedly vetted her for three days, and she provided a number of details only the author would know.

If only the author would know, how did they know she was speaking the truth? Unless they were the authors as well, that is.

I seem to recall the author of 'a child called it' being an example of an author who wildly exaggerated their childhood.

I just realised that the only thing that it could have been is password for the account under which it was published.

Only the author would know that one. And it is easily proovable.

It would be enough for her to log in in front of them.

It's generally impossible to come up with lots of specific details on the spot for a story you completely made up.

It's a joke, and fortunately almost everyone seems to be getting it (possibly because the news is covering it).  Part joke, maybe also "Let's take some silly photos to commiserate and stay calm with disaster impending".  Someone commented that it was as effective as prayer, and I think that's unironically true in a positive way.

That would blow it into Yurop, which would consequently warrant a response with yuropean windmills. The hurricane would then pick up more speed on its journey to and fro the atlantic, becoming the world's deadliest game of pong - sudden death

According to this it would take more than the combined energy output of the entire world to equal the power that a hurricane can generate.
