One positive thing about my night shifts: I make ridiculous ammounts of money out of them. Like, 200-300 gross per day. Still very exhausting.and not worth it imo

If that's in dollars, you're making more than I do in a week every day.

That's in €. But I dont do shifts everyday. Only about 3-4 per month. Less, if I can help it. Whether 17 or 24 hour ones, they essentially mean staying up from sun to sun.

Still it was nice to learn that with a couple of them I can get a new computer

Tent City isn't really a concentration camp, it's a jail, but since most of the people there are mexican it gets a bad rap, thats only because most of the criminals down here are mexican,
Both my brother and dad have served time in Tent City, and they're both white.

And ya, Obama doesn't like Sheriff Joe, and there is currently a federal investigation against him, so some people are saying this press release was for political reasons.

So I went to the local county fair today and had a decent time, ate unhealthy, delicious foods (brat with sauerkraut, popcorn, cheese curds, and a milkshake) and went to the commercial kiosks.

Now for the WTF, the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (it's the local Minnesota Dems, long story) were pretty typically gathered around sitting at a kiosk and being relatively congenial and handing out free popcorn (I took it, of course).  Nothing unusual there.  And then I saw the Republican and current state rep for the area, standing on a platform about 3 feet above every other kiosk, scowling at nothing in particular.  Of course, then I saw something called the "Wheel of Freedom" and just about bowled over laughing at the cheesiness of it.  Then, of course, he scowled at me.
