The thing is, the bible is a big pile of fiction with as morale: "dont be dicks to other people, k?"

If you think that is the morale of the bible, you have not been reading it. It is mostly about converting or exterminating the unfaithful, treating women as property and bowing in fear before a malevolent god. There was a bit about being nice to people about 3/4th of the way through, but then it went back to traditional values such as genocide and torment.

Yep. One of my "favorite" stories from the old testament is when they convince another tribe to convert and get circumcised, then slaughter them all when the men are recovering from said circumcision. Oh, and in that same story, then treat a rape victim "as a harlot."

The bible is totally all about spreading love and joy.
