Man... I was just enjoying a game (though oddly not my favorite in the series... combat wise)...

At the start...

But it hit soooo many sour aspects. The game basically fails in that it has such HORRIBLE pacing...

I mean I know the Atelier series has almost ALWAYS been a "Sleeper" game in that it is "Not good until you are halfway through the game"... But Wow... the game hit the breaks, the characters are VERY undeveloped still (once again, halfway), and the game still hasn't introduced all the mechanics.

Which even THAT would be fine... except WOW this game for some reason has some serious UI problems. Which is absolutely vital when you have to juggle around literally thousands of items...

Just grabbed a bowl of spaghetti and reached for the pepper grinder. This grinder had been previously emptied, but someone refilled it with peppercorns. As I turned it over to grind some pepper onto my spaghetti, I discovered that this particular grinder was not intended to be refilled. Ruined that bowl of spaghetti.

You should have made a peppercorn roast, with minced peppercorns.

I just ordered pizzas delivered to a bar in the city.

Update: The pizzas were good. Well, the vegetarian one that I ate was- I contributed my other free birthday pizza to my friends.
The pizza I got was a kind I hadn't tried before, the first vegetarian one that I spotted. It was one of those fancy "chef's best" ones, with a square-shaped base cut into squares and rectangles (they did a pretty sloppy job cutting both pizzas, but oh well), and while it was smaller than a regular Domino's pizza, it was actually really filling. And tasty- very tasty, so tasty that I forgive it for the smear of sauce that went unnoticed on my chin until I next used the bathroom.

I was amazed that I remembered about that offer (that was meant to expire on the 10th!) in time, and even more amazed that it included free delivery!


Also why the hell did that derail go on so long?! And on a topic we have a dedicated thread for? You people truly have no self-control.
