Funny thing

I can only cook when I'm cooking for somebody else.

If I'm alone, all I know how to cook is instant noodles.

If I actually bother to use heat, I usually just heat a can of chili. Otherwise, it's a sandwich or chips.

Fakedit:  I cook because it's cheap.  It'd somewhat tedious, at least when I'm alone.  Though with technology, I can sorta-kinda watch a show on my phone as I do so.  Not really but enough to assuage the boredom.

When I'm cooking for others, I get selfconscious and overcook the rice.  But apparently my hamburgers, which I basically never cook for myself, turn out great (and I have to agree).  I just cook them longer under lower heat, and have patience...

I don't have to worry about cooking eggs for my dad, though, because he likes them runny DX
different strokes I suppose, I prefer mine rubberized!

"What you see is what you get" editing means that what you see in the editor is what will show up in the final. I usually see it with website and interface building stuff. Still no clue what it could mean for a phone though.

Cooking around other people is more fun because doing pretty much anything around other people is fun. Need them social contacts and such.

I find cooking very tedious by myself, but fun with someone to keep me company.
I think it's just another 'busy hands, idle chatter' activity, where conversation flows easier because you're multitasking.

In DnD and tabletops it usually means the mini is modelled to have the exact same loadout as the character on paper.
It used to be a requirement to play in GW stores which gave everyone massive rageballoons because then they wouldn't include enough rocket launchers or whatnot.

Yeah the "What you see is what you get" rule, so for example a unit upgraded with grenades had to have grenades visible on the model, or a unit equipped with a CQC weapon had to have a visible CQC weapon

One of the problems with learning how to cook is that it's not always apparent when it's warm enough to be safe to eat before you go full charcoal.
