Oh yeah and Alexander conquered 8 times more than the 3rd reich, Hitler was a fucking noob scrub compared to Alexander.
Alexander lost battles: 0
Alexander lost wars: 0
Hitler lost civilization: 1
Mongols with bows and arrows conquered nearly 40 times more than 3rd reich with jets and rockets, and ended some of the most technologically superior civilizations with nothing but salt and mongols. So gobblyghost pls

Hitler would've stood a chance (a very small chance) if Japan had never tried to take on Amerika, who proceeded to go full-on Sid Meier's Civilization on their asses.

Also, to bring to your attention, Attila the Hun, who didn't have an empire per se, but the Roman Empire was scared shitless of these barbarians. If Attila really tried, he could've taken Rome with relatively little hassle.

The Hunnic Empire > German Reich, but even Attilla isn't enough for my tastes to qualify for world-conqueror
He did try conquering Rome and couldn't, despite the Roman Empire being a festering shithole only alive because no one wanted the other to kill it first. Couldn't conquer Persia, nor Byzantines, nor Romans, Attila was close to being a world-conqueror but just couldn't quite get there

The only significant chance of victory Hitler had would have been if BARBAROSSA had captured Stalin (probably causing the USSR to collapse into civil war as the various "Soviet Socialist Republics" tried to break free from Moscow) AND if he had decided to throw Japan to the wolves after Pearl Harbor.

The Huns > their contemporaries in general.
They just pissed off all of the aforesaid contemporaries so they never ran out of backup.
Also, the peoples that Attila conquered were not insignificant.
Attila was like an ancient Hitler, commanding an army to conquer all of the adjacent groups, becoming a threat unreasonably fast, and were utterly screwed when they bit off more than they could chew against a bigger, badder opponent.

This is all wrong and the anachronism made me sad
anyways geiseric > attila as best waifu by far. geiseric may not have conquered as much but he did most of his stuff through all according to keikaku
I appreciate attila's ruthlessness, but geiseric got the mad skills

No Pearl Harbor attack would result in Germany losing due to Lend-Lease pouring an effectively unlimited quantity of equipment into Allied hands. If America were attacked by Japan and Hitler didn't declare war, then all of America's industrial might would be devoted to crushing Japan instead of propping up Britain. That's the biggest fatal flaw in the "Pearl Harbor was an inside job" conspiracy theory.

Germany is a funny thing when it comes to technology - they had balls and wits to take on things such as ARs, jets and proto-main battle tanks, but they were forced to halfass it which resulted in tons of problems. Everything they made was a race against Allied bomber carpets and Soviet tank walls. There was this time when they had a chance to have a fighter with end war performance in 1939 but choose the Bf109 and made Heinkel salty forever after. Or when everyone reasonable was telling them to straight rip-off T-34s but they ended up making Tiger. Or the whole Battleship thing they tried despite not being in power to make non-shit surface navy.
I mean right, it's hindsight and it's still hard to say if they would manage better if they made other choices (move Rommel somewhere where he can use his lack of logistic skill useful) but if you're taking on practically whole world alone, you better powergame as fuck.

Well they were kinda crippled after Versailles. To go from that to being able to hold their own for 6 years isn't too bad.

It's kinda funny how much WWI affected WWII.

If it wasn't for the Versailles treaty and the reparations, wouldn't Hitler have been far less likely to come to power, and even to go into politics?

The Teutonic T-34 was the Panther, not the Tiger. The Tiger entered the design phase in response to the British Matilda II and French Char B1 tanks encountered during the invasion of France, and was pushed into high gear (and pushed to new levels of armor and armament) during the KV-1 panic.

If we hadn't demanded so many reparations from Germany from WW1, I can nearly guarantee that WW2 as we know it would never have happened. Read: no Hitler, no Holocaust, probably an actual war between Amerika and Mother Russia instead of a Cold War. We may not have even tried to reach the moon until significantly later due to the lack of Cold War. We'd still have Nazis, though. Those guys were pre-WW2, but without the war they were just another group of bigots with fairly little power.

I am angry because you assume my incompetence but can't actually rant because you are technically right. Still, Germany should shit out 30 ton Daimler-Benz ripoff T-34s instead of Tigers or Panthers, since they still fared far better with oh so inferior T-34s anyway.

Russia wouldn't be a problem. Poland held the line in 1920, it would hold in 1940, would hold the line in whatever time, JUST STOP FUCKING BACKSTABBING US FOR FUCKS SAKE.
