I guess this kid has created for himself a situation where he cant get out.  The solution would be to nevermind the others and focus on schoolwork and/or extraciricular activities to meet his social needs, but maybe he can move to sweden where he can hang out with 3 more weasels to meet those needs as well?

We had a ummm .... 'towel boy' for the football team.  A nice guy and all, a little dim but not obviously handicapped.

But he was always on the outside and on the brunt end of jokes.  the football team protected him from everyone but themselves.

This is the kid who was challenged to do 'eyes shut sit ups' and the large lineman 'Jew Knight' dropped his drawers and spread his checks so he got a faceful of spread buttocks.


But, enough about that, he one day said he was going to hang himself from the fence around the tennis courts.  We of course went out to stop him after some of the meaner ones went to 'watch him', and we found he had gotten his shoes stuck in the fence and fallen.  The gate was locked so he couldnt get out without climbing again.




so yea.  We all know one.  Or at least I would believe we do.  We may not be in their class, and indeed in the higher level classes or schools we may not hear about it actively, but we all know one.  Kids are mean.  Like worse than any adult.

I spent most my middle school years getting ... not bullied, because I was a big dude.  In  groups they got brave, but alone I was a 160-lb 8th grader who played football.  High school was better, once I realized people thought I looked attractive.

I think the worst part of this was when I tried to photograph the niceness, and it said "who wants to watch people *get along*?" and "peace is boring, violence goes viral." It feels bad to spread malformed media.

Also, "GIVE THE AUDIENCE WHAT THEY WANT."

Weeeeellll. Certainly he's rude, but I sympathize somewhat. Suicide is a somewhat shocking thing, and finding humor in it isn't, that strange of a reaction. Certainly not one you should share. But... I sorta understand why he acts like that.
