If you have to, barricade your door. Then film him trying to bust it down.
And hide the recording device if you can.
So if he rages through to door he will be angry, yeah u'll get hurt but adrenaline kicks in and its dull thuds that only hurt later. The more evidence you have, the higher chance he has of getting shit put on him.
Also remember he wont go to jail for the first offence cause cops suck.

@Catmeat: That's bad advice. It seems like you're saying that I should intentionally put myself in danger so create more evidence. This wouldn't be the first time I've come to blows with him, and I know what he's capable of in that situation. The whole "adrenaline kicks in" applies to him too, and a situation where I'm being cornered like that with no means of escape is a very, very bad thing.

-Maybe some way to make basic furniture out of dirt/clay?

-Animal training is totally in, although I have no idea how it'd work without cage traps
-Large litters and short childhoods, maybe no asexuality whatsoever to simulate breeding proclivities?

Dunno how to make all this at all fun though. Or actually mod in most of this stuff. All I've ever really done modding-wise is androgynous salamander necromancers.

The way I see it, a Redwall mod would be all about stripping things away.  If you ignore the animal people bits, its set in a sparsely populated world that's low tech and low fantasy.  But still pretty hostile since the bad guys always outnumber the good guys.

Might want to look into the RPG Burrows and Bunnies for inspiration. As the name suggests, it's based on Watership Down and painstakingly informs you how weak and pathetic you are. The average strength of a rabbit is 5. The average strength of a human is 40.
