I'm suddenly realizing that my current avatar is basically how I'd want to look like if I was female, with adjustment for height of course because being short sucks. That black-and-white dress is simply perfect (especially with that anti-perv thing underneath), the arms are positioned in a way that showcases the complete inner peace while not looking vulnerable, that head tilt is ideally suited to complement the slightly-smug-yet-mysterious-happy smile, and the hair is neither too long nor too short, seemingly unkept yet flowing around like its out of control in a way that real-me never quite could do but not for the lack of trying

Nah I think they were just too high on tantric sex or w/e they were taking in because it definitely didn't look like normal

and while my own behavior isn't all that normal, either (wanting to look and dress like my prettiest avatar and all that auto-imagination/alter-ego stuff), I still have enough self-control and empathy left to not annoy people too much, I hope

The ban wasn't for tantric sex, it was for fighting. I knew straight from the second post of the Linux thread that it was all going to end in fire.

Toady is totally bigoted against practitioners of tantra though, just not in this specific instance.

Geez, Warframe. Went to an alert. It was Archwing Nightmare Mode, and had a bugged objective that prevented it from being completed. That's hands-down the worst thing I've had any otherwise-good game deliver to me in weeks, easily.

Yet another reason why duration/efficiency/energy regen Loki is the god of playing way underleveled. You may do peanut damage, but you can sit in stealth chipping away with your sword for as long as you need.

Technically he didn't really talk about the inner machinations of sex, IIRC, which is what I believe Toady takes specific issue with; it was more that he went on and on about how it's the ultimate form of expression and a physical and mental display of one's spirit and other weird stuff like that, the kind of thing you read in self-help books written by people who like to screw in their weed lounge.

He also started a Linux thread where he insisted that people who didn't think Linux was literally god were disgusting Windows or Apple devils bent on turning the internet into an Orwellian police state. Kind of irritating and also gives those of us who like Linux but don't intrude on people who like Windows/Macs a bad rap.

Well yes you totally can be banned for discussion of various non-innocent activities

but as you can see that in the Moderation Log there are no people banned for exactly that reason

It was, well, rather special. Not in the way of content itself, no, but in the way of speaking, it felt like that person just couldn't stop themselves from speaking more, and more, and MORE, adding more and more layers of what-the-fuck into their continuous neverending argument about superiority of his world view or something about that.

Also they were against Internet porn, for some reason.

But I think that discussing banned people is not super cool unless it's in good spirits, so I'd rather not continue this conversation.
