I think she wanted to get to that, but she mentioned wanting to properly finish up the different plots and grab achievements she missed, since last time she played it was the xtended mod.

My brother seems to be taking it really hard that Rock Band 3's drum-fill-before-star-power feature is identical functionally whether on or off (I.E. if there's a star power drum fill there with the feature on, any notes hit or missed in that time with the feature off will not count for or against score), since he thought he was actually hitting the notes the whole time. Like, I've never seen him so disappointed.

I'm not really sure about any fiascos or reduxes, but I heard Ranger mode basically completely disables the UI. No ammo count, no weapon selection menu, none of that. You have to remember every bullet you have and listen to sounds to determine what secondary you're using and all that.

You don't need to remember the bullets, you can just hold the reload button and Artyom will remove the ammo so you can count manually.

There haven't been any fiascoes about Ranger mode, just some contention that in vanilla Last Light (not Redux), it was paid (also pre-order) DLC.
