I once saw a statistic that a higher percentage of people survive gunshot wounds in the US than stab wounds (probably due to more unreported non-serious stab wounds).

why are you using scissors for cutting grass. Unless you mean the other "grass"

I like my lawn to be be perfect, which requires a good deal of detailing. Obviously.

No, but I can't exactly use the mower near the edge of the garden beds or the just planted rose bushes/vines or the ferns which are actually growing IN grass but which I don't wan't to mow, because I'm hoping they'll kill the grass and completely replace it.

Also, big goddamn tall things that shoot up won't get caught by the blade cause the bend over and go completely flat with the ground until it passes. That one mostly means I need to cut the grass more often.

Might I recommend investing in a weed whacker? Surely it's got to be more time efficient, easier on your back and less prone to stabbing yourself than using scissors on your lawn.

Weed whackers are loud and take power and I'd be terrified of accidentally killing my other plants. Seriously I have no idea how I would weed whack around the ferns and flowers.

I found myself idly wondering if there's a way to hack the FF1 GBA release to use the original NES graphics. I'm not entirely sure why.

Probably. The GBA isn't all that difficult to hack. Harder than say, the SNES, but easier than anything that uses CDs/DVDs.

Hacking it isn't the problem. It's converting the NES spriteset into a useable format (unless they're already 1:1, which I somehow doubt), then swapping them. The greater question is why the idea popped into my head.
