Seems like a waste of time, though. Hitting living things that are trying to eviscerate you is much more entertaining.

Especially now with the Super Mutant Suiciders. I do like them... so long as they stay far away.

Explosives / careful application of accurate weapons and Jet / headshots work wonders, depending on whether you want them to die fast, die a little slower, or die much less fast and leave nuclear material for you.

If you don't have at least one weapon that can reliably kill via headshots in one round of VATS I implore you fix this.

I think I had a silenced Gauss Rifle, so I could murderise everything with x5 sneak attacks.

It certainly proved useful in the Institute's final mission. That and the stockpile of PsychoJet I had, that still didn't last the entirety of the final battle.

Correction: an MD does not necessarily imply a PhD.

A PhD is not the only type of doctoral degree. It's the most commonly thought of, because it's the catch-all for most of academia (though not by any means the only one--some that spring to mind are the DEng, DTh, and DSSc). However, there are also a number of so-called professional doctorates, which include: MD, DMD, DDS, OD, and DNP, among others. All of those I just listed are medical doctorates, and in fact that is what pretty much all of the vocational doctorates are.

Your average GP might not, but a surgeon or specialist absolutely should have a PhD.

Bzzt. A PhD has exactly fuck and all to do with medical practice. However, it's correct to suggest that most GPs don't have MDs--they tend to have DOs.

That said, it's absurd to say that medical practitioners (at least in the first world) operate legally without a doctoral degree.

That's been pretty much the main selling point of the series since 3. Although now you can punch robots into bits, too, and that's pretty fun. I just wish NPCs would actually fact to the player's habit of mutilating everyone...

I just wish that you could toggle Bloody Mess. Sometimes I want people to explode into gibs, sometimes I don't want to have to pick through a field of gibs scattered across two city blocks to find the ones I haven't looted yet.
