Well, I could run something at around 5:30ish tomorrow, but it would be rather rushed-I'd only have an hour to plan it, if that, and little to no time to design a map.
Quality over quantity, we(I) can wait. Maybe we can start... The week after the next? It'll give you a bit of time to cook up a campaign.
And if we(I again) can get a half-linear campaign(there is an important plot/quest, but we can choose both how and whether or not to deal with it), that would be great.

Oh man, if this is an RTD with Sean as the DM it is gonna rock.

I've made a doodle poll, which is really useful for scheduling purposes.  If you don't want to use it, I'll remove the link.  Just add your name and check the times you can make it; you can adjust the timezone too, to ensure there's no mix up.

I've set it up so the actual dates run from Saturday the 23 to Friday the 29, so we can ignore the dates and just go with a weekly schedule if you want.

Well, since my MO does seem to be quality over quantity, it may as well "rock", but it's going to have a flaw inherent to this kind of thing: it's going to crash and burn halfway through. Or sooner. ExKirby better be ready to act as a backup DM.

If I run it, I think I'll go with Robot Adventure, after all. I'll need some time to prepare maps of the island though, and cook up some decent stat lists for things. (though more often than not I'll just cook them up on the fly - that also seems to be part of my MO as DM :P)

ExKirby, are you going to play? I'm a bit uncertain about things.

And I voted in the poll, though only for what fit the best for me. Not my actual open time, but meh.

No, I'm fairly sure that I won't get internet access, and the only laptop around would be my dad's, so I won't be able to get Skype/Gametable. If I do get access, though, I'd be happy to show up on these forums and post loads of ideas. I like having a DSi =D

Through a little brainstorming with ExKirby this morning, I've come up with an incredibly idiotic setting just right for a dungeon-crawling RTD. Specifically, Sci-Fi dungeon crawling RTD.

You are a USS Enterprise away team stuck aboard a strange enormous derelict ship, shaped like an arrowhead. The 'prise was sucked into a wormhole before it could pick you up, as it is prone to do sometimes. You're going to have to find a way off this ship.

So, a team of six. Four of you are security personnel, one is a medical officer, one is a science officer. All with standard away team armament. Redshirts will carry phaser rifles as well, to give them an extra chance of survival.

Fair enough for a setting?

First come first served. Be the medic if you want.

What skills do we start with?

Also, claiming the science officer. Maybe I'll sprinkle a little mad science here and there... ;)

General training, plus what you're supposed to start with. So the medic can use the gear he's carrying and identify odd symptoms and whatnot, and the science officer can do more than just point the tricorder at things and make cryptic comments. Redshirts are a tiny bit more proficient with weapons. I'll make character sheets once we actually decide when we start playing.

The only one left is Virex. That makes 5. So I guess just 3 redshirts?
