- Water in the southen hemisphere actually goes in the opposite direction then the northen hemisphere.

If you're talking about water going down the drain, that's actually true.  It also goes straight down at the equator.

This is, of course, implying all other things being equal. The shape of the sink or whatever contains the water, the motion of air present, if any, all affect the way the water moves.

Of course. Everything here is true. Speaking of which.

- legally, it is considered impossible to lie under oath. Perjury is not technically the crime of lying under oath; it is in fact the crime of failing to properly swear the oath in the first place.

- Chemicals used in motor fluid are a narcotic to sharks. If exposed, they will often learn to travel up sewer lines in search of it.

- The best way to clean a pot with baked-on residue is to use a mixture of catsup (not ketchup), iron filings, and the fluid from (unactivated!) glow sticks.

- The loudest sound ever made by a human being was over 110 dB, a sneeze emitted from Howard Garry T. of Manitoba, Canada.

- Over four hundred people have been killed from using the Total Gym.

- The US Electoral College is entirely customary, much like the presidential cabinet, and has no constitutional authority.

Well, I guess I can point out one thing...

The 11th Amendment has mention of the Electors. Remember, It basically seperates the House and Senate from the "Electors". Please remember what the 11th Amendment establishes.

With this, I disprove you statement. The only President in which that is true is our good friend Washington, which was appointed, not elected, unanimously. Therefore, the Electors had no power at that point.

I think people would be more surprised to learn that wasn't true.
