The train is driving me crazy.  I can't get it without completely throwing everything else off.  I feel like it's key to the alternate ending, but I can barely rack up any levels at all if I get it.
Oddly enough, that means you're a lot closer than you think.

I didn't max anything, but on my first try I got a nice eco-city, complete with eco-cars, water channels, an underground city and underground mag-lev trains.

now lets see if I can do better!

These games are ok, but I don't play any of those more than once.
I refuse to play every one of them a dozen of times before I figure out the right combination.

Alternate ending is awesome. I don't want to give away anymore then that but the train means your on the path to the ending but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with it.

This is driving me crazy.  By the time I get the train, I've barely got any development and there's only three moves left!

Well that is the point. You max everything out to get the normal ending. The alternate one... not so much.

I found the combination to get maximum level everything on valley by pure accident. There's like, 5 minutes of stuff levelling up at the end and it's pretty awesome.

That landslide of everything spiraling out of control is sort of the reason we play these games. Such a good feeling to see that going on.

Can someone spoiler me the orders so I can get to the end, and save the 4 days it would take to figure out otherwise?

The alternate ending is not nearly as cool as the normal ending.

I like the alt ending more, but probably because my first Grow game was the somewhat linera one with an undo button after you won.
