Well that is the point. You max everything out to get the normal ending. The alternate one... not so much.

The alternate ending is not nearly as cool as the normal ending.
I like the alt ending more, but probably because my first Grow game was the somewhat linera one with an undo button after you won.
The alt-ending is pretty funny.

I can't which is funnier:
seeing the architect go BONSAI!crazy, or seeing the alt. ending crazy mad architect.

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

The first time I played v.3(again) I think I started hinting on the alt. ending with some wrong choices, now I have no idea how to recreate it and I wish I wrote it down. Though I suppose alot of things in grow are easier by writing stuff down
