...We don't have anything that could survive in there, though, so we just asked the server techs at [TOP SECRET] to pull it out into safe space. They say they don't know how to do that, Oi. I say they're just too lazy to want to bother, but if I fired them the spies could find them publicly and get the location of the CZ.
Which planets should we send the colonists off to? (3 ships)
the 'rebels' have, unfortunately, been successful in stabilizing the economy, pretty much just by selling the companies back to the companies. while that doesn't make sense, the Economy guy is actually asleep now and not trying to flood my offiice with ideas, so I'll call it a success.
missile bases dne, now researching how to make the most anti-alien missile possible. We could just put normal missiles in, but that wouldn't help the xenophobia campaign that sprang up from on of the planets almost as soon as people noticed they weren't at risk of losing all their stuff. We've sent some professional propaganda pieces to it to help it along, and then sent the spies some altered versions to try and start unrest over yonder as well.
GLaDOS is being stubborn and not accepting our help with the cake. Argh!

Research Station Alpha/Space completed, now in orbit around Tarsonis. the researchers have started on building V.I.'s, by re-locating and then tearing apart AI Theta and stripping the awareness code. thus, most of the work is already done, and there is just the laborious job of re-designating, duplicating, and defending them from smart cyberwarfare. (1 turn to erect basic defenses, 2 turns to bug-fix them and teach them things.)
No soldiers were deemed fit enough for SpecOps this turn. (coin flip action, was tails this turn)
After judicious, yet discreet, testing of the Ion Grenade protoypes by the spies in the embassy on various random techs, the Military Geek deemed them finished. production has started, slightly more secure than the drone production site. He has also started drafting plans for a Hyper-Transit inhibitor after being asked for a way to grab pirates out of hyperspace, though the feasibility of the plans seems dubious at best. (You need Capital spaceship hulls, not just Medium, to pull this off completely. that means you need better shipyards built, or just more of them around a single planet)
CZ Virus is still failing just after entering the zone. maybe sending a VI with it attached would make it survive longer.
The State of The Collective speech was today, people seemed to quite like it.
