How am I using "a plot device whereby a seemingly inextricable problem is suddenly and abruptly solved with the contrived and unexpected intervention of some new character, ability, or object."  Only one I see doing that is nbonaparte with his self-improving A.I. attempts.

nbonaparte is speaking of things he'll do in the future if he can acquire the AI codes as open source. It was never stated that chaos was bad for business in the UPA, affectionately referred to as Spoon Land by its people, so stealing businesses that haven't been lost would be a Deux ex Machina.

Should we skip RAM and go ahead with the turn?

Seems reasonable, but as soon as we make the turn you just know that he'll post his actions.

Chaos is in general bad for business in all circumstances.  You need a stable society so that you can make accurate predictions about the future.  It's not my opinion, it's economic fact.

Who said our said our planets were chaotic? No reason that a decentralized government cannot be stable. And note I dind't say to what degree it was decentralized, we do have a prime minister after, all, we just don't have a capital planet, all the planets in the UNITED Planets of Awesome are seen as equal member planets.

And V-norrec, do you know the name of your economic guy huh? Didn't think so.

He is Economic Adviser.  He was renamed that of course as our society values it's position and people take the name of their position in many circumstances.  :P  I like being an alien society.

edit:  this is obviously a joke, I really don't care about his name, just what he does for me.

Norrec you seem to forget that this is a forum game. We don't really care about vague concepts such as "reality" or "physics" or "laws in general." If you came here for those purposes, you just lost a bet you didn't even make.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.
