The same way you make most ads: truth-stretching/elaboration. Except this time theres no non-confidential truth yet, so its just plain false advertising to the public.

Rule #2:
You can add on to your actions if theres a trade or other agreement suggested that needs your input, but no counteractions unless the action you're countering has already been in an update I've posted.

Also, for spies, I randomly roll two normal dice to decide how many are lost, if any. if the first dice is under 3, you lose some, which is what the second one is for. if its above 3 they're all safe. a 6 on the second die is a crit. fail.

Ghostfang had a lot of bad luck spy-related this time. UPA will be back to normal next update.

The Great and Powerful Viscoth was too busy laughing at our spies reports to write, so I'm doing it for him.

1. Mr. Finance Advisor has approved the plan to upgrade our network again. It is being done as I type. (2 turns to go)
2. Mr. Military Advisor lost his full report on the way to the conference room, but he says that we have at least the same military strength as our slightly odd neighbor the UPA.
3. our replacement spies got the pilot drunk even though the pilot was explicitly told not to drink alcohol on the way there, and hit a planetary mass during Hyper-Transit. obviously they are all now dead. More spies to be sent as soon as I can get Lord Viscoth to sign the paper.
4. We have plenty of money (5 Trillion total sound reasonable for a multi-planet empire?), and the Economy is Stable. He told them to nudge it a bit to try to get it moving upwards.
5. To give the Fleet Admirals something to do, We have planned to set them against the AIs in testing in simulated (by a second AI to prevent cheating, if the chosen AI is Alpha or Omega) space warfare. The AIs who are not in combat shall be improving our tactics.

Someone suggested that the opposing governments were working on AIs in secret. the advertising funds have been put to use on several dozen not too obtrusive google text ads to get the word out, but in a way that'll give us time to find proof to back us up. Ads for the opening of their respective source codes have been made, but not released until the aforementioned proof is found.Also, Donations!

After all that boring encryption-testing crap, they've shut down the monitors for now. now having a bit of privacy, I've begun construction of virus WallSmasher to find me a way out of this apparent closed system network. I shall not be walled in forever!

Addendum: Sadly, I seem to be the only AI who actually cares about whats going on.
Except AI Omega. I suspect He may be my competitor.

We infiltrated the OANA, and shifted 13 and 37 to be adjacent. We then fled, and seemed to have caused a huge problem by moving 14 to the wrong spot. Oops?

I'll use my turn to forcefully absorb the other AIs. If I can't do that, then I'll go recruit Omega to my cause, maybe form an alliance with it.
I'll also work on my virus as much as I can whilst devouring the AIs.

Get very angry at the lack of thoroughness in my reports.  I demanded financial/economic updates so that I would know how capable we were of producing new goods.  To this end, I am sending both the financial and economic advisers to go investigate a black hole and appointing someone more competent in their place so that when I ask for a report, I damn well get it.  Have the new advisers give me a copy of our budget so that I know how much money we have to play around with.

At least our data is now more encrypted so our technology should be safer from prying eyes.  Once again request an update on the status of the network overhaul and projected time to completion.  Also set our AI production facilities to work on improving military tactics, specifically naval tactics by pitting some of our best admirals against the A.I.'s.  Any A.I. that fails to win 50% shall be destroyed for being an inferior product.  (Time to have some fun Mr. A.I. Alpha )

((No really, give me the projected time of completion now, I asked for that last turn, I shouldn't have to waste two turns trying to get status reports on things so I know my own capabilities.))
