Fallout: New Vegas is coming out pretty soon, maybe have a look at that? Otherwise, perhaps look at an MMO? There's a couple with no monthly fee, and they're quite reasonable to play, especially if you manage to get a few friends/acquaintances playing with you.

And Dragon Age is apparently a lot like Mass Effect, just with more magic and less guns. I liked it for the storyline, but the combat was kinda depressing.

Dragon Age was fun, and I will forever love Bioware for letting me side with werewolves to kill elves. I am looking forward to the sequal they've annouced. I liked Fallout 3 but wasn't as into it as I am some other games, and New Vegas doesn't look very different. I HATE MMOs, the grinding just makes me want to stab something. Plus I get bored of classes very fast, when I tried WoW I couldn't get past level 12 or so in any class before getting bored. Only Druid and Warlock lasted longer, and they only got to about 25.

I know what you mean. I've never been one for grinding, or farming, or any of the other ridiculously repetetive activities you have to do to get anywhere in most MMOs. There's a few out there that don't require it, but then they get old fast, too.

Borderlands is an excellent game, if you don't have it already. FPS combined with RPG, with online multiplayer. A lot of fun, even on your own.

I wish they'd have called it Dragon Age: Sumgai or something instead of Dragon Age II. They ditched the naming system after two titles. What the hell.

Very true, but supposedly they where supposed to have the horns atleast from the beginning, they just didn't have time to redesign every single helmet in the game to accomidate horns.
