I kept saying I'd do this and by god I've done it. Here's the first 7 or so basic levels of layout for the fortress I'm constructing in a northern desert. Cobblestone walls, sandstone floors in between the walls of the first floor, probably doublestep floors on the ramparts. The remainder of the constructions are undecided, except for the glass roof of one of them.

Note: Probably requires Paint.net or Photoshop to fully view all the layers. Each layer corresponds to one z-level. Grey blocks indicate z-level changing areas - for example, staircases, ladders, or halfsteps. Black blocks are walls, dark-grey blocks act as floors, light-blue blocks are glass. The remainder are probably better left ignored unless you're really curious.

The buildings inside the walls are, from top-left clockwise, are a throne room, a wizard's tower, a 'church', and a farming building. the blue blocks in the centre are a fountain.

So, it's been a while since this question was last brought up, and it looks like most of the plugins are back, so it's time to ask again:  Will we be returning to Gold4?  I don't have any particular attachment to either map at this point, but the new resources will be harder to come by on the old map.

Honestly, blue dye is something I can live without, and if you're that desperate for it, you can go to a new chunk.

Djohaal's Skycity and Logical2u's Aether are slated to be schematized and placed in the map, as soon as we have a stable one.

Stonespray is going to be entirely reworked.
