Anyways, I've staked out a spot not far from Zukos city and the quarry to build my home, and maybe some other stuff. It's also an interesting neghborhood as there is a small blue pyramid nearby. Also, someone left a column of rock in the area where I want to build

Ah, the dangers of cuboid.

We were sitting there with lordnincompoop, working on his desert-under-glass, when all of a sudden, everything inside a large sphere disappeared, leaving lordnincompoop at the center of the now empty space, with paralyzing lag preventing any and all motion. I think I could almost see the horrified expression on his face...

Actually what happened is he tried to create a sphere of cacti, and it lagged us all out. It was very strange.

UPDATE: Scratch that. Here's the sequence of events:
1. LN decides to try to create a 18 radius sphere of cacti.
2. Cacti don't like that shit, and implode.
3. Cacti spray everywhere, loose.
4. LN undoes the cuboid stuff, causing the cacti to be buried under the crap that was originally in the space that was replaced by cacti.
5. The loose cacti, thousands upon thousands of them, attempt to path up to the surface, causing everyone around to lag uncontrollably.
6. The maimed cacti are slowly cleaned up by the shocked and disoriented onlookers.
7. Hilarity ensues.

Anyways, working on building my house, although I've gotta compromise with Zruru as it is technically at the edge of his claim (he respects my claim for the house of course). I looked on the map and I've got my eye on an area to the west.

I'm still working on designs for my ship. Turns complex 3D smoothcurves into complex 3D block-curves is REALLY FREAKING HARD.

On another note, I measured out how much room my ship will take up on a downloaded map of Jaycraft. I'll be building it in the air, but it'll cost shadow on most of my island and a good bit of the area to the west of where I plan on building it.
