Tried to connect a few minutes ago. I got an "Outdated Client" message, but I'm not sure if it's my fault or the server's fault. This really looks like a nice server, and I'd like to get in. If anyone can enlighten me to what's going on, it'd be really appreciated.

Since you should have gotten the update and the server's compatible with it, I don't see what's wrong.

Tyrg you are using the alpha client right? And not trying to connect with the creative one? And you're using a client from minecraft.net?

I resolved the problem. I'm not sure exactly what went wrong, but when I deleted the contents of my .minecraft folder and started the client back up again, it worked properly.
