Okay, uh, white square of error...

Is there a mod I am unaware of or does the file just hate my mac?

What does the error say?
I didn't change the raws folder in the save, all the files should be there. Of course if it's just corrupt or something you're screwed into using a later version and get 1.5 years to play or so because I continued playing for a while after I uploaded and had to delete the backup saves to make room on my hard drive.

It would have to wait a few hours either way, I'm at school right now. >.>

I can't. :P  I'll upload the save now, see if this one works

At least you get an extra 9 months. You may want to immediately suspend construction of the stone floors crossing the river at the south end of the fort, there are more than 4 ambush parties waiting to get in and the militia can't handle them.

Yes. Maybe it's thanks to the fact that we're using different OS' (I use window xp). You would think toady would force save files to be written the same way though.

Any ideas?

Well, I've transferred save files between OS's with 31.01-31.04 without issues, though that was between a flash drive. The only way we can really make sure is to have a similar OS to yours download and attempt to run.

My apologies if I cannot get this going.

EDIT: A-HA!! Would the fact you have graphics change anything? I still run the original.

I don't use graphics, all i changed graphically was using a different tileset, which has never prevented me from opening other people's saves.

Need someone else to try too...

Bah, I hope this idea ends up working! It sounds cool!
I myself haven't fingured out traps yet, (Painful learning ahead!) but I'd be happy to try and loot your dungeon once it's finished! :D

If the save works, I'll possibly sign up.
Edit: It does, but my post edits don't work half the time.

It's probably made from baby bone, with a handle of baby leather. Probably uses the leg bones wound together for the handle, the pelvis for the handle/pick joint, and the pick is the spine.

But that's all in theory, of course. Not like I've made a pick out of my own 5 month old baby before.

If you release the clowns, will they show up in adventure mode?  I just punched into the clownhouse, and "The Militia Commander has lost hold of Luzaturoth vunom tirdug his cotton candy artifact shield and I'm sure the battle and the fortress will soon be over.

Exerpt from townbrush.txt by Internet Kraken:

"Nobody wants to live in Townbrush, and for good reason. Almost everyone that has come to Townbrush has been eaten, stabbed, crushed, drowned, hacked, incinerated, or beaten to death with an octopre skin backpack. When we're not under siege, we're being attacked by Forgotten Beasts. And when we're not being attacked by Forgotten Beasts, there's probably a zombie whale crushing someone to death in the dining room."

You can now run into clowns while wandering near the site.
FUN.

Lolghurt, you can start whenever you want, and even take over deoxys' region until his situation changes in regards to his ability to run the save. I'm going to upload the current save to use, I've been playing through still and a LOT has happened, including things which should not have been possible. It's only mid-spring still, but you may go as long as two years if you want.

Sorry I haven't been around for the past couple days, I had pretty much given up on this idea. Wonder if those that posted in support of the idea even read further replies and know this thread is here...

Lolghurt suspends Take Turn: Trying to Fix OCD that causes him to refuse to play on the basis that a tileset has changed the characters of every material. What was the tileset?
