blackmage you made an abstract X of Y!! game, gave us no background information about anything, and then expect us to know what you're doing. If you want us to stop arguing, then you should step in, and actually tell us if we're wrong/right about something.
We've been arguing about what the breath should be like once we get it, we aren't just randomly throwing much of a tantrum about how it should be.
As I've previously said, the breath attack comes in childhood and you have to hatch the egg before that happens, and you can specify how you would like it then.

Right, they're debating what they want it to be once it can develop one.

Right, also you made a x of y game and you don't want arguing?

 ???

Edit: I also cast my vote for the breath of pestilence and plague. (Maybe with some carcinogenics in it.)

I think that we need to put more into time. What good is a plague, if you can't also accelerate it's spread by one thousand times? Infect the world in a heartbeat, and only release the "cure" (Zombification, obviously) in exchange for untold riches and power!

Would it be possible to use time magic to delay that to three turns?

Why would we do that? We want this thing ASAP.

It mean the eggs would get more magic around, so the dragon would be more powerful.

But if you slowed it down then would it not absorb magic at a slower pace, thus making it a exercise in futility?

It doesn't need to absorb magic, it presumably has its own separate source. Its elements are decided by us before its hatching.
In light of our recent compromise to get a bone/ice dragon eventually, I vote for time/necromancy.

I'll run two turns in one update for convenience.
...
You look at the egg again, admiring your conquest. It is almost all black with tinges of gray and red. IT has a green infinity symbol on one side. After the dragon hatches you could probably stick this in your trophy case... but that isn't important. You practice necromancy to the fullest extent, summoning souls from the other realm (for about two minutes, you aren't very good with that, and they can't do much.) and driving skeletons up from the ground. Then you practice time magic with your hour glass, aging trees and seeds by months. You feel the egg hatching on you back. You rip the pack of and set it on the ground, watch the egg cracking. Slowly the cracks form, jagged cuts through out the shell. The front peels of, and you can see the dragon coming out. It's grey and bony, the flesh isn't rotting but you can tell it is a natural undead. It has a little hour glass mark on it's head. Y
out pick it up and take it inside, giving it a piece of meat. Then you realize over the past few weeks training you magic you've run out of food. Well, you Should've gone to the town any way for whatever happened there, but now you really need to go.

Spoiler: skills (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Home inventory (click to show/hide)
Skill up!
Time magic increased to two!
Necromancy increased to two!

Pat our adorable little... Thing, then make an area to keep it for now. Once we have the area to keep it go into town and get milk(if necessary), meat, bread(for us), and things we'd need to make an incubator for future eggs.

This dragon is newborn, we can't leave it alone to get food!

Now here is an usage of time magic as more than a toy: In the future we'll have plenty of time for that and a dragon to help us, borrow some meat from in a few weeks!
