We might die here and now. Could be.
...
You draw from your divining rod to pull from a bout a day or so (maybe a few hours, your going to get to work on your hourglass after you buy more divining rods) to get an hour glass.. and it worked! It seems to have a little residual energy, like you were just starting a spell. what ever, it's not important. You can faintly see the designs for your glasses in the kitchen. Hmm. Where'd that wood come from.. is that from the leg of your desk? It is! Well, you know where it came from at least..
You get your gold from home, and reset the badger by a few hours so the ribs are back in place (you gave it a swift kick to the chest earlier, remember?) and grab your bag of gold. You take enough to buy the divining rods, a hundred gold for 5 base quality rods, and then set of to town. You buy the rods from the magic shop, and head home, charging them after you move your desk. You do various time tricks, thinking of the development of your dragon. You cast haste, slow and gravity on the badger while it runs around. It's quite funny. Then you think of the necrotic development. You start reanimating spiders and rats you killed a while ago and simultaneously hitting them with pain to increase your ability.
Skill up!
