We awoke the following morning feeling refreshed and happy, our souls completely rejuvenated from the momentary unpleasantness of the previous day.
Feeling so refreshed, we decided to start out our second day by tossing some coins into the local wishing well. And wow! No sooner did we toss our coins than the wishing fairy came out and personally blessed us with good luck! All of us were delighted, except for Zoltan who was acting all grumpy for reasons he never explained.
And soon our luck manifested in good fortune! While exploring near the bridge leading to a nearby temple, we stumbled upon a small crate. I instructed the others to leave it alone, because it's not nice to touch others people's belongings. But sadly, Zoltan could not contain himself, and he greedily opened it anyway.
It contained a few odds and ends, amongst them a small flute with an engraving indicating that it belonged to one of the local peasants. Naturally, we returned the box to him with everything in it. How lucky we were to be given such an opportunity to perform a good deed!
After returning the crate, another of the peasants recognized me and showered me with praise.
Realizing that the peasants were far too enamored with me to answer questions, we tried inquiring with the local craftsmen and weapons masters if they knew of any quests that needed doing. But even they were too awestruck, either by my beauty or my reputation, I'm still not quite sure.
By that time though, we had been on our feet most of the day, so we retired for the night at the local inn. That night, Zoltan pretended to "accidentally" get into the wrong bed, with me. In a way, I'm flattered, but such immodesty is clearly unacceptable to a lady of my standing, so I immediately shooed him away to his own bed. Still, a man must retain his dignity, so rather than admonish him in front of the others I gracefully allowed him to pretend it was indeed simply a mistake. Because I'm just that awesome.
Perhaps tomorrow we will find some great quests to embark upon.
