I've been reading. I've been reading as if this was real life, and we are all managers of dwarven colonies.
(Omnipresent will-o-teh-dwarves managers)
"I've been keeping some puppies in cages so they can't be adopted, and I can slaughter them."
The same thing with kittens. Other furry animals even. Not even the ugly ones, like cows.
You are all sociopaths.
Especially the trash compactor drawbridge maneuvers, regarding immigrants.
Burning people alive to save resources. That's not the worst, moders, who burn
people alive to garner resources. Baby bones. Baby Bones.
The mayor just wants some leather hats. Give him the hats, Jesus.
- He need not be drowned, or burned, or both at the same time.
- Fall down large pit and then drowned and burned.
- Impaled as well?
- *Noble bones are worth the same as baby bones*
Are there any others affected in an emotional manner by these atrocities? Please, let your voice be heard.
That happens because those things are harmful, it is a fact that people hate harmful things.
a. In-game cat population affects framerate (somehow easily fixed by putting them all in cages, stops spawning too, can be made into a nice zoo.)
b. Too many migrants = population crisis (fixed by the pop cap. in init. files)
c. Nobles are too demandy and too little fort-worthy (easily fixed by choosing the dwarf with the likes that you can provide for, nobles are chosen by the people but there are times that they gain the unpopularity -> disposal.)
d. The fact that everything has a use - bones in short, has effects too.
e. Food scarcity is common in those times, if you have nothing to turn to then you only have one choice. Your animals. (Would you prefer your own dwarves turning into cannibals?! Hell no, elves do that! [Thats the only thing I hate about them])
f. Magma is a superhero, it has superpowers. What those superpowers are? You decide. Its magma.
