I don't like complaining but I wish combat against NPCs was less awkward. I don't know if it's lag or if they just move fast but they seem to jump from tile to tile without moving through those in between. The only flurms I've managed to kill were on the other side of a window, or who's focus was on others in the party, or with around 90% damage taken. I must admit I am fairly new to combat and my race might be handicapping me but my weapons are sharpened and I'm following the instruction given by other players.

The key to combat is usually to position yourself and then charge at the enemy when they signal that they're going to attack. Running away works well too.

I've done an awful lot of that lately.

Moah, find a well in the fortress.

I tried to, but I keep running out of stamina because of dehydration.

Eh, I don't like combat too. I'm going to stay far away from it in the game, be one of those harmless guys, who just pounces in on the next kobold. Or just be the guy to trap opponents so they can't dodge around so damn much.

I happen to pretty decent at it, and I'll train anyone who wants in the ways of NPC or PvP combat. Just ask in character. You'll find me hanging around Duradbesmar when I'm online.

Wooden flooring takes WAY too many resources. For a 6x5 tile space I need 60 nails and 90 boards. That's just a little much, I'd like it if it took just 1 nail and 2 boards.

Since cobblestone floors only take two stone and one dirt, I think it'd be fair to make wooden flooring similar.  Two boards, one nail.  Though I guess you can make the argument that wooden flooring has to cover everything, while cobblestone are various pebbles, but...  eh.

Unfortunately I damaged the bridge to the north during a battle with a flurm. I killed it but also the bridge. I tried to re-bridge the gap but can't seem to build in any tile other than the one I was stood in. I've been called away from the computer for a while so it's still down.

For fighting things like flurms that kill you in like two/three hits, I shoot at them with bows and run away when they signal they are about to attack. I'm not sure how efficient close combat is against them.

Make sure to have a friend near by when using this system.  I've been told that if enemies do not have a line of sight to ANY player character, they instantly regain health.  Move too far away while they're not fighting and it'll be moot.
