Your letting two trolls who attacked after the orcs attacked "Just so that they could get a bite of the action." You are taking two people and stereotyping their traights on to all of humanity. if anything, you should be less prone to killing humans, and more prone to killing orcs.

Its your paranoia that will get you in the end. The human stronghold, is only a stronghold because we are afraid you will attack in reality, on the inside, its just an everyday city. We have no intrest in doing any "hassling" its just that this continent, is one of the only safe places left due to the lack of a spawn. Besides, we are far outside your gates, and I doubt any of your immigrants would cross our path.

I think we just all need to settle down.

Ech.  I just don't trust the other groups as a whole right now, especially after how they acted during the fall of Duradbesmar.  Humans tried to get inside by acting all nice, and ripped it up.  Orcs fought constantly.  I think us being worried is a perfectly natural reaction to all of this.

Because we discuss everything on here, and they want to know what we're planning.  Either that or to do diplomatic actions to try and diffuse things.  Either way...  xD

Edit:  People of bay12 are playing Hazordhu.  People of Hazordhu are playing with Bay12.  Heh.

Well, Kogan, if you know how to enchant a bow, then please do it. The infernosplosion and firebows are EXTREMELY powerful, that I can attest to, especially seeing them used to attack Duradbesmar. If you can make one, then by all means do it and I will gladly not give the humans land, but they are a extremely valuable strategic resource.

Well, Toady doesn't like outside drama creeping into B12, which tends to happen whenever B12ers launch off to play a game. Just a reminder before it gets out hand.

Anyway, since you guys are having such disagreements, it might be worthwhile for someone to start a truly isolated fort, and leave the dwarf/human lovers together.

And goddammit, guys. Handle it all IC. If you yell at the player of a character because of how his player acts, that makes everyone cranky.

If you handle it IC - kill someone, exile, wall it off, conspire with other characters.. it makes the game more fun for all.

No trades! Any technology is easily stolen or figured out for ourselves! The age of internet should have told us that information will inevitably reach everyone, but material things are limited in who can acquire them!

The problem is, Firebows aren't dwarfy.

If it were a Fireaxe, however, it might be worth working towards.

But fine, I'll do what I think is necessary, all in character.

We've got a locked brick gate at all entrances to Abaloddom. Would that be sufficient?

We ought to have a series of airlocks, maybe even a labyrinth. Have some parts be filled with deadly creatures, too.
Also, how do you make tannin? I know I need seeds and a bowl of water but I can't figure out how to make the actual mixture.
