--------------------
Raul [6] You start work on making some caltrops, but things aren't going so well.

Steven [6 + 2] You start looking for some flammable things, but things aren't going so well. But luckily Cristian comes to help you, and man does he help you point out all of the obvious things that can burn, things like wood and cloth burn easily, but things like rock and metal dont.

Cristian [16] You perfectly secure all of your belongings, and used some plates of metal to fortify your shack.

Maximum [12] You perfectly organize The Keep into sections for doing just about anything you can think of, but then again it was like that before, you spend the rest of the day looking for reading material. You do manage to find two books, one entitled "The Complete Works of Willaim Shakespeare" which is owned dearly by one of your fellow survivors, the other is a children's book in horrible quality.

Kaguros [19] [16] You and two of the more mechanically suave survivors start work on repairing the Truck, it take most of the day, but you beleive it will run perfectly once it gets some fuel, but you can't be shure.

Stanley [3] You completely fail to get anything done today, way to go, failure.

Alec [3] You completely fail to get anything done today, way to go, failure.

--------------------

Mostly Destroyed buildings litter your immediate surroundings. There is a foot deep layer of snow upon a foot deep layer of soot, everywhere. The sky is overcast. Your Keep is very visable as a landmark from a while around. There are no available signs of recent travel. There is a trail of smoke coming from off in the distance, the group making the smoke is now visable, there are aproxamately 12 people dressed in assorted cloths, they weild clubs and daggers, and lead 3 camel-like creatures, there appears to be children amongst them (3) they look un-friendly, they will arrive within the next day.

Luckily for some of you, and un-luckily for others, something incredibly stupid happened and I had to re-write it all...

I do what i did last time again untill i finish it.

I prioritize the sealing the front entrance and stockpile some throwables from above, either by a window or the roof if i can get to it from inside. I pee into some jars for a nonlethal alternative/discouragement. A trick i learned in australia.

Ooookay. Since I didn't find any blueprints or survival manuals or anything (apparently this place wasn't exactly a library,) I'm going to set about making tools and blades to trade to the people approaching the keep.

Also, if I can get an NPC who isn't doing anything to scout for blueprints, or anything with words on it that can easily be carried, I'll do that.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.
probably figured an autobiography wouldn't be interesting

Is that what you were loking for or what you were expecting to find? The context I got from it was that you were looking for books to sell/trade/barter, but no, nobody thought of bringing books with them to the apocalypse...

Well, tbh, I was looking mostly for machine blueprints as our keep seems to have probably been a factory of some kind, given the doors. If we can make something to charge some large batteries (like stationary bicycles or hand cranks or something), we can make working machinery to make all kinds of stuff!

Then say blueprints next time, not just
books

Gather whoever is willing to come with me and head out to scout the small group of people. If they look friendly then greet them if not then keep watch.

Gather up all the wood into a woodpile. If thats already accomplished, go out and look for more wood, before it gets dark.

I suspect you've never tried doing many illegal things yet in your game. The second the CCS knows you're "active", they'll come down on you like the hammer of God.
