hi guys, is it possible for me to mod DF so that the next layer i mine into has iron?

this if for a place that i have already embarked on.

DFWorldTinker can mod pre-made maps like this.

actually on second thoughts, i dont know how to use this, i have looked at the forum post, but it doesnt say how to get to the rock layers

Find a mineral that is in the layer you mine into, then replace the tag for that mineral with one for an iron ore, and import the document.
