Emulator, that's how I have to get Screen shots.
As long as you have Purchased the game in Real-life, it is legal to use the emulator.
Providing you dump the game itself... sometimes. Which may or may not take hardware that's probably not legal :P Downloading a ROM is illegal, period, if pretty much completely unenforced. Is still DS, though. The current emulators don't add much in terms of functionality -- there's one with savestates and it's easier to take screenshots, but that's about it and they'll wreck low spec computers.  The emulators themselves are perfectly legal regardless as to whether you've bought a game or own a DS, it's just the ROMs that have legal entanglements.

I'unno if the publisher folks have bought their way into new laws preventingcriminalizing even backup yet, but that's really not something to discuss here, I guess.

More appreciated than you know.  :D

Also, keep in mind that the DS rom itself--its operating system, if you will--is also protected by copyright.  You often see a fuss about this in PSX emulators.

Still, I don't like playing games without using savestates, unless I'm specifically trying to relax with some good old Nintendo Hard on a game I'm already quite familiar with.  So I emulate the games I own, yeah.

I once suffered a glitch. I made a thirsty commoner and a bucket. I tried putting water in the bucket, but that didn't attract the commoner. I made a "giant scaly winged firebreathing potion" and dropped it on the ground. No effect. I used the potion on the commoner. She became giant, scaly, winged, and probably firebreathing. And thirsty. Then I made a water bottle, dropping it onto the bucket. The commoner quickly went to munch the water bottle, and then something else (presumably water in the bucket), becoming "quenched". And then she, massive winged grey hulk that she is, suddenly disappeared. Into the bucket. I then took an axe to the bucket, just to check - sure enough, she popped right out. I gotta try and replicate the thing sometime...

My copy of Castlevania SOTN got way to scratched up to play, I still have the Case it came in, the CD, the Receipt, and the manual still with me JUST so I could never be in trouble for trying to beat one of my favorite Childhood games. Which I still never fully completed.

Tried to make a tank man, here goes my best effort (Thanks Newgrounds)

And then she, massive winged grey hulk that she is, suddenly disappeared. Into the bucket. I then took an axe to the bucket, just to check - sure enough, she popped right out. I gotta try and replicate the thing sometime...

I followed these steps but was unable to replicate it. I gave Maxwell the adjective-ized potion and tried using it on the commoner but the action was not available, nor did it do anything like it did when I tried it on a normal pair of wings (which worked exactly as imagined). I then gave the potion to the commoner through dragging it and she just grew a pair of giant scaly winged firebreathing wings, but looked the same. After that I put the bottle bottle onto the bucket already filled with water as you described and she ate the bottle but not the bucket, nor did she end up in there.

Interesting.
Well, it was a bug, just like I said. I tried just now, no luck. Not sure what happened there.

I fail at thinking of an adjective for Blood draining.
