Not really on the same thread, but I used to be a child enviromentalist.

Me. Enviromentalist.

Please, please tell me you have an old picture of yourself at a Green Party rally or somthing. I don't even need to see it, just knowing such a thing exists would be crazy enough to make my day.

I play Magic: The Gathering.

...Okay, I'm lying, that is not a guilty pleasure at all, as I love rubbing nerdiness into the fabric of space-time that I happen to occupy.
My real guilty pleasure is prefering subs over dubs, yet telling everyone that I am unbiased and that one is as good as the other, thus lying to them.

Hm... guilty pleasures...

I'd probably start with my obsession with yuri anime/manga/fanfiction. While I'm rather open with it online no one I know IRL could even guess I have such a hobby as this - nor that I even have formulated a position on gays/lesbians. Except possibly my best friend across the street that I showed Strawberry Panic to for laughs, whole thing was comical really...

And *cough*lolis*cough* My favorite subset of anime characters, just for the "moe" value.

To round off the list, I'd have to say doujin, though of a more specific subset than just average porn.

Of course, none of these could be guilty pleasures depending on how we define it - if you hide it from pretty much everyone or just people you know in real life. Becauese if you talked to any of my good friends on Starcraft they'd be able to tell you that I enjoy all of these things, and probably some specifics besides depending on who they are.

That's it. Pick up that soccer ball, go outside, and make some new friends. Saying you have friends on Battle.net is like saying you've got girlfriends at a crack house.

Guilty pleasure? Making fun of people in a way that I don't intend to be offensive, yet have learned from experience will be taken as such. Sweet, sweet nicotine of spite.

Just for clarification, would you say penpals aren't real friends either?  I'm actually curious where that falls with people, since it's pretty rare in the modern world.

I'm sure I would become friends with someone if they held a soccer ball in their hands.

 Fuck.

But yeah, Nightwish. I don't know why i like them, I don't know why I get a feeling that this is strange or something. But that feeling is never shaked no matter how much I think about it. That and Celtic rock.

I consider my friends online just as important as my friends online. So there. And I'm not guilty about this at all.

That is some fine logic there, Janet.
