You find some
shitty fanfic. Damn that's bad. I mean, these characters are so wooden you could make a boat out of them.
LS-01 is apparently a 2*10^13 years old combat android with a history of space cowboy-ism. He is one of the few things that survived the fall of the Old Stephinian Empire, and his counterpart 03 is suspected to have been directly responsible for that event.
USEC&Ochita: 4&3
Ochita and OFFICER head to the market. There is a tinkerer's shop specializing in androids here.
INVENTORY:
Wireless Tranceiver: 5 CU. Keep in contact with the ship, through up to 10,000 yards of atmosphere!
Telekill Lining: 10,000 25,000 50,000 75,000 CU. Many types of android, including the LS units, are in fact vulnerable to strong telepathics. This extremely expensive alloy applied to the inside of your chassis like all armor upgrades will provide some degree of protection.
Aluminium Meroviate Lining: 3,000 CU. Extremely light weight:strength ratio armor. Small arms will bounce off your
shiny metal ass. You can even give a rocket launcher a run for its money.
Lead Meroviate Lining: 3,000 CU. Extremely heavy armor. Provides very good protection against EMP attacks and radiation. Resists most small arms.
Gold Meroviate Lining: 10,000 CU. Extremely heavy and
shiny armor. Provides similar protection to Lead Meroviate, as well as high resistance to direct electrical attacks. It also gets you the robot chicks.
Iron Meroviate Lining: 2,500 25,000 250,000 CU. Very heavy armor. Provides protection varying by thickness. Lightest armor provides decent protection against explosive weaponry, heaviest makes you invulnerable to everything but starship weapons.
Personal Shield Generator: 7,500 CU. Quite big and bulky for an android, but provide great protection if you find yourself staring down the barrel of a tank more often than you'd like to.
Joint Reenforcement: 2,500 CU. Makes limbs less likely to be completely ruined by impacts.
Servo Upgrade: 50 250 1,000 10,000 CU. Required to wear armor. Also increases your lifting capacity. Got 10 grand? Start lobbing tanks!
Mini-Laser: 500 CU. A little laser beam. Aim for the head.
Mega-Pulser: 750 CU. Big pulse weapon. Rather bulky, but can clear a room in seconds.
Memetic Power Core Upgrade: 2,000 7,500 15,000 CU. Needed to use weaponry and servo upgrades. Moar powar!
Ultra Memetic Power Core: 20,000,000 CU. An incredibly complex and advanced power core. You know, if you need to jump start a Battleaxe or strap a warp engine to your ass and fly around with it.
Integrate Device: n+2,000 CU. Integrate an electronic device into your systems. Cost varies greatly by the device in question.
Ochita finds a store more geared twoards organics.
INVENTORY:
Chemical pistol: 0.50 CU. Uses an explosive charge to propel small pellets of dense metal at the target.
C. Pistol Ammo X25: 0.1 CU
Pulse Rifle: 1 CU. Fires a 'pulse' of extreme air pressure at the target. Does not function in vacum.
P. Rifle EnergyX100: 0.4 CU
Auto Shotgun: 3 CU. Fires chemically propelled cartridges full of pellets at an extreme rate of fire. Extreme recoil, not designed for use by organics.
Shotgun AmmoX12: 1 CU
Arc Cannon: 4 CU. Extremely old Empire weapon. Ionizes air in a path to the target and deals electrical damage. Can be used to stun as well as kill.
Arc Cannon Cells: 8 CU. Rechargable memetic power cells for use in the Arc Cannon. Hold enough power for two shots on "Vaporize" setting or ten shots on "Kill". Recharges slowly from ambient memetic sources.
Expandable Coilgun: 20 CU. A very old technology, but also a very useful one. Acellerates metal pellets via electromagnetic coils. You can add extra coils to get more power.
Coilgun Clip: 1 CU. Enough electrical energy and steel BBs to fire 30 shots without expansion units. You'll need larger power cells to use them.
Expansion Coil: 10 CU. Increases the power of the Expandable Coilgun. Effects stack. With twenty of them, you can fire through tank armor!
Coilgun Energy Pack: 20 CU. You need one for each expansion coil to fire all 30 of the pellets in a clip.
Aluminum Meroviate Body Armor: 1,500 CU. Lightweight body armor. Stops C. gun shots like they were spitballs.
Iron Body Armor: 200 CU. Heavy, but moderately effective against small arms.
Aluminum Body Armor: 300 CU. Very lightweight, but also very light protection.
Evergod&Jacen: 6&5
You each purchase a cheap battleroid for yourselves. Evergod orders an EN4CR-1550 shield generator for 10,00 CU.
You are now in debt. Uh oh.
Luckily, there's a variety of bounty hunting jobs available. You take five jobs, all in the same sector. This will net you 30,000 CU altogether, so really it's okay to invest heavily, right?
Noob: 5
C-1 can now be used as an electric range.
