Wait until we can land.

You already have landed...

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Noob: Buy shotgun
Jacen: Hack internets, recieve shooting with particle beam.
Dragnar: Get someone to find me a wireless access point, and begin data mining for anything about what we saw happen to the guy who released us.
Ochita: Replace oxygen thingy then roll out..
Dwarfguy: Get out.
Spade(GM'd): Plug the flight recorder into the main computer and watch it.

Noob: 3

You waltz out the airlock and look for some place to spend the money you found on the ship.
It suddenly occurs to you that you have no idea what lanugage is spoken here. Hopefully, everyone else has a universal translator or something.
As you approach the market, you suddenly notice that you can understand what everyone's saying. Huh.

Jacen: 5

You roll out of the ship and try to find a place to connect to the internet.

Dragnar: 3

You have Ochita carry you out of the ship. A seedy-looking man in an old white buisness suit notices you and looks extremely suprised.

Ochita: 3

You plug the oxygen recycler back into its socket and carry Dragnar out of the ship.

Dwarfguy: 3

You trot out.

Spade: 4

You find a place to connect the device to the ship's computer, noticing that it has started glowing orange in your pocket for some reason.

One of the screens light up and begin playback...

You see the bridge. Two people are on it, monitoring various stations. A ship appears on the viewscreen. One of the crew says something to the captain (or whoever is sitting in the big chair in the middle of the bridge). Their language sounds sort of like a cross between modem noise and music. He looks rather uncomfortable.
There is a large banging noise. The crew member yells something to the captain, and they both grab some sort of weapon from their holsters. The view cuts to the cargo bay, looking at the airlock. Two large men force the airlock open. The captain and the crew member from the bridge show up and shoot at the men. The beams blow a hole through one of the men's chests, but they grab the weapons and stab the crew members with knives. The man with the hole in his chest does not appear to be visibly bleeding. The captain isn't quite dead yet.
The two men proceed to stab everyone on the ship, then steal everything they can get their hands on. They then wipe the ship's computer, and the view cuts to static. Presumably, they left and then the captain woke you up.

Text:

The man in the white suit intercepts the party as they leave the ship and pulls them into a dark alleyway. He looks around the corner and then speaks to you.

"Good, the guard didn't see you. It's pretty obvious from the way you landed that starskiff that you guys ain't used to space travel. Those little computer units are like walking around in handcuffs and prison uniforms with a sign on your head saying 'Escaped Convict; Please Arrest'. Not a very good idea is all I'm sayin'. Now I don't know how you got to where you are, and I don't wanna know. All I do know is that I get favors from the goverment for helpin' out new guys in town. They tend to look over minor transgressions if they think you're a nice guy. Now, the first thing you wanna do is get into some proper AI transport modules. I run a little shop in this here alley..."
"Now, that thing you got there is a debit card. Hooks into a bank account that comes with the ship. Probably got a few thousand on it. Here, I'll give you fifty percent off my entire stock. Throw in a computer transport for free."

CASH IN BANK: 4,000 CU
INVENTORY:

Chemical pistol: 0.25 CU. Uses an explosive charge to propel small pellets of dense metal at the target.
C. Pistol Ammo X25: 0.05 CU

Pulse Rifle: 0.5 CU. Fires a 'pulse' of extreme air pressure at the target. Does not function in vacum.
P. Rifle EnergyX100: 0.2 CU

Auto Shotgun: 1 CU. Fires chemically propelled cartridges full of pellets at an extreme rate of fire. Extreme recoil, not designed for use by organics.
Shotgun AmmoX12: 0.4 CU

Arc Cannon: 2 CU. Extremely old Empire weapon. Ionizes air in a path to the target and deals electrical damage. Can be used to stun as well as kill.
Arc Cannon Cells: 4 CU. Rechargable memetic power cells for use in the Arc Cannon. Hold enough power for two shots on "Vaporize" setting or ten shots on "Kill". Recharges slowly from ambient memetic sources.

Expandable Coilgun: 20 CU. A very old technology, but also a very useful one. Acellerates metal pellets via electromagnetic coils. You can add extra coils to get more power.
Coilgun Clip: 1 CU. Enough electrical energy and steel BBs to fire 30 shots without expansion units. You'll need larger power cells to use them.
Expansion Coil: 10 CU. Increases the power of the Expandable Coilgun. Effects stack. With twenty of them, you can fire through tank armor!
Coilgun Energy Pack: 10 CU. You need one for each expansion coil to fire all 30 of the pellets in a clip.

Memetic Sludge (1 canister): 5 CU. Basis of all Empire technology used by other races. Stores memetic energy for later use. Always a good idea to have a few spares.

Ultrameter: 50 CU. Extremely advanced measuring equipment.
Ultrameter Lite: 15 CU. A more affordable version of the Ultrameter.

Aluminum Meroviate Body Armor: 750 CU. Lightweight body armor. Stops C. gun shots like they were spitballs.
Iron Body Armor: 100 CU. Heavy, but moderately effective against small arms.
Aluminum Body Armor: 150 CU. Very lightweight, but also very light protection.

EVA Gear: 120 CU. Allows organics to exist in vacum or poor atmosphere for a limited time.
Air Can w/Mask: 25 CU. Allows organics to breathe in poor atmosphere. Enough to survive for a while if the LS goes out, but it's not going to save you from a hostile planetary enviroment.

Universal Translator: 50 CU. Small cylindrical device that uses a variety of extremely complex methods to facilitate easy communication between life forms that would not normally be able to.

Status line:

Jacen: AI in robot casing
Ochita: Robot. Spherical, with treads. Holding cargo-loadery thing.
Evergod: AI
Dwarfguy: Robot. Rectangular, with wings and a thruster.Holding a ?credit card?.
USEC_OFFICER: Android
Spade: Hummen. Holding a small black rectangular device.
Dragnar: AI
Iceball3: ROBOT SKARMORY
HighEndNoob: Hummen. Holding apparent currency.

Buy one arc cannon with 10 shells, also buy a universal translator (92 C) After that look around for the droid market, the one used only by droids. Yes.

Check the shotgun out. (Give me a description of it.) Buy an Ultrameter, we'll need one. (Or, get somebody to buy an Ultrameter.)

Ask if there is anywhere to access the internet from nearby. Also where we would find a couple of those AI  transport modules.

Erm, the "you are on the station waiting to be sold" bit means I can do stuff, right? if so:
(Code is in the bot, out is the bot doing things)

Code: [Select]
ENERGY SURGE HAS ENDED
>Well, then wake the [expletive deleted] up then and let me get on with my job!
Boot Sequence Commencing...
[Boot: Main Core] OK
[Boot: Toolkit_Sys] OK
[Boot: Sensor] OK
[Boot: Motive] ERROR: Float System damaged, unavailable. Booting secondary...
[Boot: Motive_Roll] OK
[Boot: Final] OK
>Right, now what was my job again?
Accessing Manifest
...
Current Mission: Null
>What the [Expletive Deleted] do you mean, Null? Why am I awake if I have no mission?
Reason for Power Up: Mission Complete, Return to Foundation HQ
>Well then, that would be a [Expletive Deleted] mission, wouldn't it?
Acknowledged. New mission: Return to Foundation HQ
>Thank you, now, to find transport of of... where the [Expletive Deleted] am I?
Current Location: Unknown
Checking local 'Net
Current Location: Bob's Used 'Bots
>... Seriously? I'm in a [Expletive Deleted] USED ROBOT DEALERSHIP?
Affirmative
>Best get started then, I guess. Give me control.
Make my way out of the shop, and find transport, preferably to where I need to go.

EDIT:

Also, you just got +10 Favor With The GM (Plot Armor) for posting all that.

Go check out the pulse rifle

(5) You manage to struggle free of the guards and sprint to a safe distance before tossing a knife at one! (5 + 1 = 6) The throwing knife zips through the air, slitting a guard's throat! It then travels around the group of guards like a boomerang. It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. Holy crap.
