Dragnar: Download myself onto the ship's computer and search for any signs of intrusion.
Jacen: Look for a weapon
Dwarfguy: Look as STYLIN' as possible for reentry of the craft.
Ochita: Trip Dwarfguy. Then look at the Gizmo that Dragnar found.
Evergod: Begin translating the unknown format into something I can process, scan/look over the ship for any more of these cryo-pods.
Noob: Get out of the cryochamber and try to find if there is an armory.
Iceball: come online and look around
USEC_OFFICER: Search the Cargo hold for any interesting items.
Dragnar: 2
Evergod kicks you out. Still, from your DualSecure container, you can tell that the ship's original AI was been forcefully removed at about the same time the crew was killed. The flight recorder is missing, perhaps that's what the box Spade found is?
Jacen: 2
You don't find any weapons. You suppose that whoever attacked the crew took everything with them.
Dwarfguy: 3
You ride Ochita's cargo claw in the most stylin' manner possible.
Ochita: 1
You take the oxygen recycler out of its port and look it over.
Evergod: 5
It appears that there were just the two cryopods. If there were any more, they were stolen by whoever killed the crew.
You begin deciphering the rest of the data. Most of it is just starmaps.
You manage to decipher the documentation describing the protocol for entering a stardock. It takes you a few tries to pull it off, but you manage to get the ship lined up and docked more-or-less correctly.
Noob: 3
Nope, no armory. You do find something that looks suspiciously like a form of currency hidden in the crew quarters, however.
Iceball: 3
You look around. You are in a large cardboard box in a ditch outside a major starport and economic center. Your owner abandoned you long ago.
You go inside and ride the elevator up. Thousands of people of all shapes sizes and colors are here buying and selling goods and services. The stardocks are where you scavenge most of your energy and spare parts, occasionally drawing pity from a sympathetic technician.
Starship captains of all persuasions land here to refuel and repair their ships and let their crew loose upon the shopping centers, representing minor governments, major governments, all sizes of corporations, bounty hunters; even Empire ships often make stopovers here.
Watching over all of this are a number of Empire enforcement officers, each one holding a rifle-sized beam weapon that only fires for them and can punch through starship armor just as effectively as the main guns on a capital ship.
You notice an Empire transport vessel making an extremely poor attempt at docking. A rather seedy-looking gentleman (think Nick from Left 4 Dead 2) notices it as well. The guards do not, luckily for whoever seems to have stolen it.
USEC_OFFICER: 3
You find what appears to be food, though on closer examination it is in fact a somewhat-accurate imitation of what a human would normally eat. There are also some spare hoses and such detritus. None of it looks especially valuable or important, though spare parts are certainly a useful thing to have when traveling through space.
Status line:
