white devil extract?

So i fought against this white devil, killed it and traveled away. But upon entering the map somewhere else i started to bleed heavily and would die eventually.
So could this be because of the white devil extract, or did i just bleed to death for no reason?

Yep, it's almost certainly poisonous. Randomly generated creatures do stuff like that.

That reminds me. If I find some sort of extract or bodily fluid clown (something that starts with "goo-" and is from a lizard devil, the rest was cut off by its pretentious name) could I find some way to coat my weapon(s) with it to poison my enemies?

For that matter, can you even do that with regular poison like giant cave spider or desert scorpion poison?

Your weapon definitely gets coated if you use it to kill the beast. Other than that...if dropping it on goo-soaked ground doesn't work, or dropping goo into water and then jumping in with your weapon, try luring a monster to the patch of ground, getting it covered in the goo, and then using the desired weapon to kill the monster and hopefully get goo off the monster onto the weapon.

Well, I haven't actually met the damn thing, I just found various items that had lizard devil goo bodily fluid blood-equivalent on it.

I actually already sold it, but could probably get it back. I might also try dipping crap in a small pool of water I went in while holding one of those items.

It doesn't, the tentacle demons are gone :(. There's no more white goo on walls of HFS and on creatures in cages.

Does that mean that syndrome causing substances can kill off the ahh.. Breather? Or would they be immune to their own syndrome causing attacks?

Yes, they are. In fact, they're immune to pretty much everything but physical attacks and cave-ins, the formers of which they are quite resistant to.
