I find this topic a little funny, because you could list almost anything.  Quick-saving and loading is at the top of my list, and it's happened a few times that I've woken up in a hurry and for a brief few seconds forgotten that mechanic doesn't exist in the real world.

Jump off of a cliff, land in front of someone, and put a shotgun shell in their face.

And you really could put anything.

I would also like to make pigs fly...

I have also occasionally attempted to save my game right before doing something risky.

Fall a lethal distance, but at just the right moment, punch the ground to tell it I'm not taking any of its shit today, no siree, then proceed to survive uninjured.

Recover from illness by hiding behind cover,
if it works with bullet wounds it would follow it would work with things like cancer

It's a little known fact that chest-high walls all have PhD's in medicine.

Man, I've looked out at cars flashing past me and stood on the edge of a lethal drop and then jolted and gone 'no, wait, can't try that, no quickload.' It's like jumping whilst you're asleep except with nerd shame mixed in.

1. Being able to cast extremely destructive magic.
2. Being able to control an empire that stretches over a quarter of the world's surface.
3. Being able to perfectly play progressive rock songs on drums.

Being able to effortlessly hold thousands of cubic metres of stuff without any effort would be nice.

Being able to open up the console.

Really, this is all anybody would ever need ever. So long as you could open it up when dead it covers pretty much everything else.

It's reality. I would hope we would have the basics that Oblivion had at least.
