My shower has one knob that you can only turn.

It goes from cold to hot 1/6th of a turn, and I honestly haven't checked to see if it kept getting hotter.

Depends on what you mean. If I want to actually get clean, then warm/hot. If I want to relax, ice cold TO THE MAX (or rather, minimum). I picked near ice-cold though, because if I could get clean enough, I would take cold showers. Cold water just doesn't really clean soap/shampoo off well enough.

I put it on hot most of the time, but during particularly hot days around summer time, I like to put it on lukewarm or even cold.

I have to admit, everything is very snuggly warm when you taken a REALLY cold shower.

Though if the shower is too cold you get an uncomfortable burning sensation and possibly hypothermia.

I had no idea so many people have those one-knob showers.  I've never seen another one though, or anybody I know.  Huh.  Do all you guys have one where it bends up and down like a lever for the pressure?  But to explain, it resets the temperature every time because the knob is loose, so pulling it up always twists it too.

Anyway, this sure is a lot of discussion of showers.  No mention of baths.

With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes.)
