I may have forgotten to Dwarf everyone, you will need to do that.

I would like to take a turn if there are any slots left. I will warn you though I have only been playing DF for little over a month.

Alright, seven peasants in an evil forest with an aquifer and no stone.  I'm not sure if I'll be able to breach it this year.  May have to settle with just building above ground for now.

Edit: And harpies!

Edit 2: Us 2, harpies 1.  There's one more.  Hopefully I can take it down without any more casualties.

Edit 3: Got the third harpy without any more injuries (I think).  Now everyone is tantruming from being drafted, seeing death, and being caught in the rain.  I am concerned.

Edit 4:  Oh man.  Xczxc, you just killed Argembarger.  Things are not copacetic.

Turn 3? I'm new, and haven't even built a pump yet. I have been able to get a fortress up down and running though.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

Well, that was FUN.  I'll say it with pictures:

Yes, that is a pack of beakdogs.  The dwarfs should have read this before embarking.

Well, at least I made it into the summer.  What do you guys think, retry or reclaim?

No, embark like a normal embark, but on top of the old site.

It's probably made from baby bone, with a handle of baby leather. Probably uses the leg bones wound together for the handle, the pelvis for the handle/pick joint, and the pick is the spine.

But that's all in theory, of course. Not like I've made a pick out of my own 5 month old baby before.

I'm not sure what's going on, but DF is crashing every time I reclaim.  It's fine until I unpause it, but then it crashes.  Abandoning and reclaiming doesn't fix it.  I think the save is corrupted somehow. >:(

I just unzipped the folder again and I'm going from that.  /me knocks on wood.

You can't do that. Unless it was recently added.

So... you want a turn?
