Because, you, the physical player, are pissing me, the physical player, off.  It's just that simple.

Well, sir, as we have no ill actions towards each other right now, I would like for him to hold a cease fire. And, should I somehow obtain the money, a Titan Mk. I group would seem to easily mop the floor with his army if a few JJT's, Jump Jet Troopers, are thrown into the mix.

And V-Norrec, would you like to give me a bunch of money this turn for Psy-Ops? And possibly JJT's?

If test subjects are needed for the Super AIDS delivery devices, use Prostitutes.  Then, give them a one-way ticket to Italy and watch the AIDS infection rate in Italy climb.

Slightly modified turn.

Thank you for anouning your plan in public. Heres my new turn...

Ok heres my turn.

Name: The New Roman Empire
Leader: Alex Juli
Revenue: 1800$
Money: 500$
Territories:
-Italy (500$/turn): 4 Regulars
Other: "Friends of America": 1300$/turn, 10 turns left.

Armies: 2 Regulars entrench at Italy, just in case Ragnarok wasn't joking about invading me. Sure, It will will slow down my advance in the Balkans but its better not to be the first country to lose its homeland on the frist month it was created. Also, the other Regulars invade Switzerland and Solvenia.

Research: Spend 1100$ into Electromagnetic Projectile Devices (Should be pure sicence tech that will unlock Railguns, Gauss guns and Mass drivers)

Domestic: Build 2 Bunkers in Italy ($400)

Recuitment: Train 2 Regulars in Italy ($800)

Edit: Almost forgot!

Other: Find the journalist that made me sound retarded and have him, in order:
1. Beaten
2. Torutered with hot metal
3. Taunted
4. Deskined
5. Leave to hang in the cold, naked.

Kill any people coming from The Ghostfang Brotherhood without remorse or regret.

No, its not because of that. Its because you don't like having to fight Phantom and would love to kiss his ass anytime.

Sorry, but its the only logical reason other than your just a dopple-ganging Thug

And now that everone wants to invade me, time to pour a very large amount of my income into defensive and anti psy-op techs.

. . . because I've totally been kissing his ass before this.  Yeah, totally, as in I never did anything for him or even really talked to him before this point.  If you are looking for a real reason, there is a sweet-ass bounty on your head, and you're pissing me off to the point where I don't give 2 craps if it cripples me later in the game, not having to deal with your prattling is reward enough.

and sorry phantom, I really don't have the money to give right now, I'm working on it though, I assure you.

Yes.
Yessss.

You know? You get an island in the Bahamas. I really don't need that anyways, and it'd be easy to take out if you back stab me.

So your taking the claim that he "might" give you money after you waste time, soldiers, and resourses on killing me?
What if killing me doesn't go as planned? What if the war againist me costs thousands? And Phantom will just pay you a thousand dollars for a ten thousand dollar war? If he even pays you in the first place?

Why work for a person that may WILL invade you in the future when you can work toward his downfall? Think hard about that.

First, I really dislike backstabbing. I don't backstab. Except for people who deserve.

I do not fear getting back stabbed or back stabbing because most of the people in this game seem to want me dead.

Also, if you and your "allies" are the only ones left in the game, see how quickly your "I never backstab" helps you lose.

Seriously, the underpowered small nation is arguing with us.

What the fuck.

Someone steam roll him out of the game, I really don't want to waste resources doing it myself.

Let's talk about politics.

Falcon: I've got to say, the bounty is a splendid reason to attack you.  Regrettably, I'm far too far away to crush you for the money.  In fact, I would go so far as to say that the main reason you are being crushed within a few turns of starting is because  not only are you very weak (consider that Phantom crushed Japan within the first five turns for that very reason) and surrounded by hostile nations you have gone so far as to deliberately aggravate very nearly every player around you.  You have been no less than outright provoking them into attack.

Not that provoking them into attack is a bad idea in and of itself; it could form the basis for an excellent feint.  Unfortunately you just don't possess the sheer force to stand against a concerted force from all other players.  Nobody does; not even USEC (and he's probably the greatest non-NPC superpower).  Hence the need for diplomacy.  Had you avoided such blatant provocation from the start you could have gathered allies against your primary threat (again, USEC) and survived to become a powerful, influential player.  I would probably have been very willing to support you.  However, by burning all of your bridges in this manner you have essentially signed a death warrant for anyone who might consider allying with you - not just at the hands of Phantom but essentially other player.

My intent here isn't to rant at you and say "bluh bluh you're stupid", it is to enlighten you to the simple politics of the situation.  Don't piss all your potential allies and enemies off whilst you're still weak.  It's nothing less than political (and soon, actual) suicide.

I did not burn down the bridge. The other people in the game burned them first. I had no intention to annoy everone in the game.

Ragnarock threatens me. I threaten him back for good reasons, but everone else gets annoyed at me for condemning someone who is an enemy to me. They burned the bridges.

Also, I pointed out a flaw in RAMs defences and just made a small joke on the matter. Phantom gets so annoyed he has gone has far as to offer all of his money for my death, which also makes no sense.

I have never threatened anyone who hasn't threatened me first. I never tryed to make enemies. I even offered techs to people who supported me, but people hate me now for doing things that any normal person would not annoyed at someone for.

Also.

Seriously, the underpowered small nation is arguing with us.

What the fuck.

Someone steam roll him out of the game, I really don't want to waste resources doing it myself.

I have resolved not to even try to invade you, because your own impatience and stubborness will lead to your downfall.

I'll sure as hell be less stubborn when you're out. After I get rid of Mexico and most likely some of Spoons forces in about 2 or 3 turns.
