I meant with the medal, but you have proved your point.
Incidentally, what does the medal look like? I imagine it as a giant explosion.

A private communique from the desk of CEO Nwabudike Morgan, delivered by hand.

Whilst we cannot publically support the initiatives of R.U.N. whilst U.R.I.S.T. continues to hold such popular appeal, we do see the thoroughly tangible benefits following a trade of resources 'under the table' so to speak.  We can provide perhaps 20% of our special projects division allocation per month on this matter, but in more concrete terms what can we expect out of this alliance?  We are particularly interested in reaching parity on defense technologies.

A Message to CEO Nwabudike Morgan, delivered via Paratrooping Commando.

Mr. Morgan, this alliance can and will lower the public appeal of URIST should we continue to resist and flourish against them, and without them attacking you, you can expect a monetary gift or gift of 'Security' Personnel, or perhaps a land grant in a resource rich territory.

Units cannot move from Turkey to Palestine in one turn. Are you okay the Turkish militia attack lebanon, and the Jordanese militia attack Palestin?
It has the same effect, so I have no objections.

A message from Kane to Commander Phantom.
As we will soon have swept U.R.IS.T. from our territory, the Brotherhood may have difficulty doing as you propose, however whenever and wherever we can, we will gladly provide funds and soldiers, and, where and when it will be helpful, we will share technology.

Turn XV

HEADLINE: Setback for URIST: Is Democracy doomed?

The last weeks saw defeat after defeat for the URIST. Yesterday, General Itozov had to flee from Lukaza as Evil Forces were closing by. What are URIST's chances in today's world war?

RandomExpert:Well, it is hard to understate how vitally important it is for URIST to succeed. If it can't, the world will be at the mercy, and collapse into anarchy, with states warring among themselves to grow before they get invaded. "To eat or be eaten". Most nations know that, and this is why I would expect them to join the fray if things turned real bad for URIST. Of course, some of them may just find it the perfect moment to start expending...

RAM, I let you do your actions because my explanations weren't clear, but from now on, if you want to attack two countries at once, please look at the updated rules in the OP.

Sheb, there should be a unit of Regulars in Syria, and I think there's another unit of Militia in Iraq, and I had a surplus of $164.

Also, I notice that each turn, I can recruit: 10 Militia; 2 Regulars and 2 Militia; 1 Marines and 2 Militia; 1 Commandos; 1 Tick Tanks and either 1 Regulars or 4 Militia; 1 Fighter-Bombers; or a few other combinations.

RAM, do you want some cash? I'll give you $312 if you do.

Turn to come later.

Uff.  Talk about RANDOM.org striking back at me.  Also, unconscious for the last seven hours.  Very long day.  =P

Budget

Research (£500) | Basic Economic Theory: Improves the likelihood of better returns on investments?
Development (£250) | Sierra Leone: Attempt to fix the catastrophic economic breakdown in Sierra Leone.

No infantry movement; profit vs loss estimated insufficient due to poverty of surrounding nations.  (Unless they're producing more than £25 a turn, it's not worth invading.)

Communique

Our primary interest is in better armour technology at present.  What would it cost for RUN's generosity to extend towards sharing basic body armour development?  At present we are making do with light infantry or armourless soldiers.

(Also, wasn't in the rules when I last looked, but what are the costs for upgrading troops e.g. Regulars to Marines?)

It is mentioned, but in a very obtuse manner:
Upgrading your army is a lump sum.
I think this means that if you want to upgrade a unit, you have to pay the difference in cost. To use your example, that would mean you'd have to pay $500 to upgrade a unit of Regulars to a unit of Marines.
