Armies: Jump Jet Troopers invade Belize from Cuba. 2 Regulars and a Marine group from Cuba load up on the Transport, dock in Honduras, and march over to Guatemala.

Question sir.  if I were to invade Maylasia, would I need transports to the island part or would we pretend it was all connected?

Demonic Spoon: Economic Education rise the cap on investment. It is also a prerequisite for most (if not all) the economic techs. Actually, you've been researching that for the last few turns.

Phantom: Hubris also got some awesome rolls invading Finland (which was defended by 1 ranger and 1 regulars) with a destroyer.

V-Norrec: You'll get it. Either that, or I'd consider it not to exist/to belong to Indonesia.

Actually I feel this planter got too many islands for my own taste. Time for global warming?

Just merge them all into the GREAT PACIFIC ISLAND UNION.

I also wonder how 5 division of troops managed to fit into one Cocktail Bar.

If I merge Brunei and Maylaysia and Indonesia, Papau New Guina, and Micronesia, will you keep the islands?

Well, it's mostly that I lack a decent mechanisms for managing lots of islands. For the moment, let's say that you'll get the islands together with mainland Malaysia.

Phantom: Well, they had one month to drink, so they didn't go all at the same time. Plus the Jump Jet Troopers could hover above the crowd to the bar.

Sheb, you may want to update the techs shown in the OP. If not, at least add a list of all the techs in the turn posts.

Quote from: Economic Development Directive Report
Tolley's International Initiatives Affecting Financial Havens defines an 'offshore financial centre' as 'a politically correct term for what used to be called a tax haven.'  Tolley qualifies this by adding that 'the use of this term makes the important point that a jurisdiction may provide specific facilities for offshore financial centres without being in any general sense a tax haven'.

Ahmed Zorome in the IMF Working Paper/07/87 deteremines that; "An OFC is a country or jurisdiction that provides financial services to nonresidents on a scale that is incommensurate with the size and the financing of its domestic economy."

However you define it, an OFC brings wealth into the country and acts as a hub for international trade and development.  By restructuring our tax codes, privacy laws and providing capital for infrastructure development, we can turn Sierra Leone's not unimpressive financial sector into a powerhouse of global commerce.  Multiple international banks have already expressed interest in the venture, as well as oligarchs and those citizens of wealth and power that have a vested interest in keeping their money secure in these most dangerous times.
