It's really not unrealistic. It's a cylindrical lump of metal instead of a bar. It's also really useful for your next carpenter mood.

How that can be a metal lump... See, I only have a mansory, carpenter's workshop, mechanic's workshop, craft'sdwarf workshop, no furnace, no metalsmith, no things related to "smithing". How this appeared in my map?

This is quite odd... Have you messed with your raws in any way or installed any mods?  In a vanilla install iron logs do not exist...

I never touched the metal's raw- i only changed the plants, adding cotton, tobbaco, and another thing. But not tree's. For food raws, i just created soup. Never touched the metal's raw, because i dont know how to change it xD

I would go check for any duplicate entries in your raws that you modified, as duplicate entries is well known for causing all kind of loopy behavior in all manner of ways.

Chances are it is only one species of tree that is producing iron logs then.

Post your plant_standard.txt file - there's probably something strange in there that's causing those trees to be made of iron...

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

What's their value? Do they have the 10x multiplier of iron?

I just noticed that when I ran out of wooden logs while making rock short swords the cancellation message said "Needs plant logs", which would seem to imply that there can be non-plant logs.
