My .16 saves are all really unstable, and start crashing within one or two years - sometimes as early as the first summer.

Are you using additional utilities?

I found that any attempt to use the apply changes button in Dwarf Therapist leads to the game becoming unstable.

Same for me, recently I've had the problem that the game crashes while saving whenever I've applied job changes through DT.

I've never had a problem with it, but on the other hand I've never had it do particuarly anything helpful for FPS, I just ran it for neatness' sake before .16 when blood was tracked everywhere.

I'm having problems with vomit right now. Some FB with a noxious gas attacked, and many dwarves becomes nauseous from time to time. It also seems to be contagious.
