Napoleon. Mostly because I did a project on him, and are now convinced that he has the greatest military genius, to a point before he decided to invade Russia.

Eh?
I don't know, Theodore Roosevelt and Vladmir Putin because their 2 of the most manly political figures who ever lived?
Other than that, I dunno.

Maybe Simo-Hayha or Audie Murphy, as they're war heroes and they have one thing in common with me, height.

Also Indiana Jones is not a historical figure and does not exist.

Jorge Luis Borges

He wrote and thought about some of the stuff that sticks in my craw on a daily basis, the nature of the infinite. I guess the literary folks call it magical realism.

Daniel Larusso is the fictional historical figure I most identify with, but in the way of actual historical figures, the one I most identify with is... a hard question. I shall think on this.

This is a toughie. So many of the great figures of history have been whitewashed to be more palatable, so people never know that they were genocidal, or slaveholders, or imperialistic, or insane, or thieves, or just major jerks.

I pick Sherlock Holmes.

I pick Sherlock Holmes.
The fictional alchohalic? Does that count?
