So, another wierd one (hopefully not controversial, which seems to have become a hallmark of mine), what historical figure do you guys most identify with, and why? Mine is kind of obvious, but I'm curious about you guys, especially as an avid history buff.

Honestly? I have no clue, unless their is a phylosipher who preached about how humanity is a pack of wild violent greedy morons where a large group is always going to be worse than a single person, who are lead and manipulated by even more violent and greedy people then I doupt there is any historical figure like me.

Karl Marx... wait no. I'd go with good old Ben (that dude on the $100 bill), not for any particular reason, just because he's awesome and stuff. Maybe Grant too.

The general rarity of female historical figures has always made this sort of thing hard. I wish western history hadn't been quite so dominated by men, because even if there are great thinkers or leaders that I agree with, its not quite the same as identifying with them, ya know?

Oh hells no, I cannot agree with that. a Person CAN be ok, it's highly unlikely but it is possible, but a group will always be corrupt idiotic violent and greedy, the bigger the group the worse it gets becouse more corrupt people seek to control bigger groups.

He's referring to the Asiatic Vespers. They were Roman citizens, but since this occured in Pontus, they were not latins. Romans would be the best term for them, actually.
