I tried it earlier myself, and was not terribly impressed at all. It ran fine (settings on highest), but then I have a GTX 460. The gameplay was terrible, though.
People will have better weapons than you. They will kill you with them. They will also call down missiles and mortars on your head, which you cannot do. When you finally level up to level 2, thinking that you will finally get a better weapon, you will instead recieve... an extra ammo magazine! This is incredibly useful, if you stand at the spawnpoint and fire your gun at nothing until you run out of ammo. Otherwise, it seems completely useless. The preceding strategy of making the extra ammo magazine useful will fail in the event that the game, when you press 'spawn at base', instead spawns you directly in the line of sight of multiple enemy soldiers, with you standing in the open, without any cover. It tends to do this occasionally, and when it does it, it does it repeatedly. You die, you respawn, they spawn-kill you again. (They may be capturing something, the game does not seem to care that it is spawning you near them) Both the regular infantry and special ops guys seem to have largely identical rifles, aside from the infantry getting grenade launchers on their rifles (which they switch weapons to rather than firing with any kind of secondary fire), and the special ops getting rocket launchers instead. Snipers have a piddly red dot sight on their sniper rifle at level 1 or 2 (I did not play any higher than level 2 as any class) which gives them spectacularly low zoom capabilities. The sniper rifle also takes longer to kill enemies than the rifles do, except that in general whoever fires first always wins regardless of what you are firing - except that you can actually run out of shots in your clip with the sniper rifle - and then you die. You see, the rifles can apparently snipe just as well, and kill faster.
Rifles kill ridiculously fast. As I said: Whoever fires first, will win. If you are not facing the enemy when they start shooting, you die before you can figure out where they are. If you ARE facing them, you still die, because you will likely manage to press your mouse button either when you are halfway dead, or just before you die. Either way you either don't hurt them at all, or just barely hurt them. Or you miss entirely. If rifles don't kill fast enough, at some point a shotgun gets unlocked for some class (I wouldn't know which), which really IS an instakill. Doesn't that just make your day?
There is one exception: I killed one person after dying, by launching a rocket at him prior to him shooting me. This violates the 'whoever shoots first wins' principle, of course, except that I wasn't actually using a gun. The guns kill so rapidly that I was dead before my rocket actually reached him, but he died immediately after I did.
If you're getting sick of things, you have a pistol, grenades, and if you are a sniper, you have a throwable bomb which you still have to detonate after tossing. This bomb is called an IED for the insurgent/terrorist side, and for the US, it, well, looks more or less like the same thing except that it avoids calling it an IED (and you aren't calling it with a cell phone whose display reads "CALL IED" ... in english. When you are playing a non-english insurgent). You can also hit people with a melee weapon if you press the key to use it. It seems to be an instakill.
Also, the game censors the most ridiculous things, the chat has no scrollback, no console, disappears too fast, and - is interrupted when you die, making a scrollback or console NECESSARY.
Did I mention the invisible walls?
Overall rating: 'I am dissapoint.'
