stockpile question

I have a question about stockpiles how do you know what goes where for example my kitchen is cluttered with lavish meals, what stockpile would that go into? I searched for than answer on the wiki and the forums but I could not find it.

Prepared meals get stored in food stockpiles with "Prepared food" enabled via the (u) ley.

Prepared meal= Food stockpile. If you want to make a stockpile that only stores prepared meal, "U" for personalizated stockpile.
